My name is Kevin Evans and I pride myself on helping you with your game. That is my priority. I have been teaching for 18 years which includes absolute beginners to top amateurs and Professionals. Everyone is important no matter the goal. Can I help you with your game? Of course and we will not make it complicated either. I will always want to get the best I can from you and taking shortcuts is not the best way as a “quick fix” is not always the answer but sometimes effective.
I started the game golf after watching Sandy Lyle play his famous 7 iron from the bunker on the 18th at Augusta and seeing Seve win at Lytham St.Annes. To play the game I used my grandads half set of Wilson clubs which had seen better days but I thought they were fantastic. So off I went to the local field to starting smashing some balls about and see what I could do.
A few people had started caddying up the local golf course (East Herts) and I decided to go along and earn a few pounds while getting a few tips. This lead to me getting put forward by a couple of members to join and I got my first handicap of 20. The era I was in was blessed with some talented players with a number going on to be Professionals in their own right and Tour players.
